What are Middle School Moments AND Why is the a blog dedicated to them?

In the summer of 2010 - another teacher and I were sitting around asking ourselves the simple question:

"What ever possessed us to become Junior High Teachers?"

From this simple question an answer sprung to life:

"It's the middle school moments!"

We spent the rest of the afternoon laughing about the misunderstandings and misadventures we had when we were in Middle School. From this, we determined that we never wanted to let these feelings go and that was why we probably ended up teaching Junior High Students.

As result, we decided all Junior High teachers could probably be reminded of this fact and would probably revel in the opportunity to share these moments with other professionals who might, on a particularly trying day in a Junior High Class, be asking themselves why they would ever choose this profession.
